I just got back to work after 15 days of leave at home. The place didn't fall apart without me, which is always good. They even fix something that I broke a month or so ago. A piece of advice, don't plug a 110 V computer into 220 V. Bad things happen.
Leave was a lot of fun. I turned 21 before I went so I got to drink legally. I only got drunk a couple times. Most of the time was spent hanging out with family and
Slayer-of-Blood. We went to Phoenix, AZ for a day and visited
RavynCrescent. She's a really cool person. She took us to a place called Organ Stop Pizza. It had pretty good pizza, but the great thing was the music. There is one guy playing an organ and controlling a bunch of other random instruments and lights around the room. I have ADHD. It was awesome. Then we played laser tag. I think I was a little too motivated.
Phoenix is a nice city. The surrounding area is beautiful(will post pictures shortly). The ride back was amazing too. So many spots on the road with amazing views. I have pictures of that too.
It all went by way too fast. I was constantly dreading the moment when I had to say "good-bye." It was only really hard with one person, you know who you are. I will see you around Christmas.
My leave did not go exactly as I planned it, but I wouldn't trade the time for anything. There are times when I wish I didn't join the Army, but I think its the best thing I could have done. Its a great stepping stone. I just miss home.
