After the caveAs I emerge from the cave than I have resided in for many year, I am dazed by the light. I leave my home, the only place I have ever known. I enter a new world, full of things that I do not understand. I stand at the entrance of my former home and rub my eyes as they adjust to the light. I look around me. I have never been more lost and confused in my life. I become fearful of what I might find by venturing further from the safety of the cave. This fear is what drives me on. I now travel outward. I seek to find some new home in this vast world. With each step I learn something new. I develop a thirst for more.
I am now a nomad is this our world. The world so vast and full of beauty. Now my thirst, not my fear, drives me. This thirst that cannot be quenched. I wander meeting others like me. We occasionally travel together for a few miles before parting ways. From each of these companions I learn more. We all share the same insatiable thirst.
